Im proud the way the guys fought it out right the final siren. Our 3rd qtr was sensational but with no bench we just couldnt go on with it unfortunately. No team can win a match with zero players on the pine!

I'm proud of all the boys bar Laycock.
It was a great effort. How good were we in that 3rd quarter to fight back from a 30 point deficit. We may have lost, but we showed out fighting spirit yet again. Some people on this board think when we're getting smashed we're out of it, but they have to know that Essendon always fight back.

I'd be proud too. Showed a lot of heart to keep fighting like that. My respect for essendon continues. Unfortunately you have a little troll named 12345 who should be chained to a block of cement and dropped into the yarra.

I am extremly proud. A hard running side should have completely demolished us.
They had more influence for the game on the bench than Laycock!
if the three injuries we got dont pull up for next week who is going to come in?
are we going to have to promote magin? he really doesnt seem ready to me
and if fletcher doesnt pull up were in even more trouble
i would say bring gumby back straight to the side but he would break his leg in the first 2 minutes.

not true, laycock had more influence on the game, he influenced the game in richmonds favour

but hey,I didnt expect us to make the 8 this year anyway.

yeah it kills me too say this.... but i think you guys would of won today had you had a full bench to rotate players in the last quarter!, bit like the Bulldogs game you had earlier in the year.
