PS2 online gameing with a Chip?

Can you play online with a chip or will they hunt you down ?

I've heard that you cannot play live if you have a mod chip installed.

If they're able to detect if you have a mod chip installed then finding you isn't going to be a huge problem for them.

Though the ACCC recently took Sony to court, over the right of people to install chips, so it's all a little confusing.

Live is for Xbox, I'm not sure whether you can play online with your PS2 chipped.

And that was actually also overturned, even more recently. So they are now illegal again, but you're right, it does get confusing at times.

actaully i dont pay for my games but thats another story - sure ppl will try and work it out but the network will change detection techniques as well.

if u rip off sony why should they let u use the service anyway??
