Hey guys!

I'm looking at getting a soccer game for the PS2.

I don't really like the FIFA series... dunno, it's just something about the EA soccer games which I don't like. They tend to be too easy I think.

I'm tossing up between two... Pro Evolution Soccer 3 & This is Football 2004.

Could someone please weigh up the pros and cons for me and which would be the best to get?

Also, I hear PES3 doesn't have any licencing in the game? What sort of limitations does this create? Are there any real players? real leagues? real teams?

Also, what game modes are there on PES3?

Cheers!

PES3 has the absolute best gameplay

it ****s on all other copmpetitors

ya are 2 immersed in the realistic gameplay to bother to realise it dun have real players

i might get fifa 05 but the fifa series is seriously going down hill

also ill only get it if i can play as leeds in first division :D

wat about team names and competitions

also can you play like multiple seasons with trading and contracts etc?

Team names yes, Comps no.

Multiple seasons & stuff yes.

After the editing is finished the game is not far off prefect liscencing wise, a few holes but not enough to deny the awesome gameplay.

Have a look at the Pro Evo thread it's all there. :D

EA Sports R.I.P. ;)
