PS3 Controller Ports

i know you can play multiple player games but some have max players as 6,7 or 8, how is this possibnle, do you need to purchase an adaptor for that many remotes??

What games are you talking about?

Are you sure its not 8 players online, or system link.

I know on my 360 you can add extra controllers above the standard 4 by adding a usb hub

im talking bout the ps3 ports, how much do they have on the 40 gig one, and if there are games were it is possible to play 4 players not online how would you hook up the controllers because im sure the ps3 doesnt have 4 ports

The controllers on a ps3 are connected wirelessly, and it has a 7 controller capacity.
