Hey i was just wondering if having a Wireless router was enough to get you online for a PS3 or do you need some sort of cable to go along with it.

but a friend of mine's been trying to get ps3 online
he got a router and everything
and when like the ps3 tryed to connect
he wasnt able to like install the updates or anything
does anyone know why?
