Was watching the reserves today,Theses boys have a big future for the Richmond football club. Putt moves around like he is an onballer, has pace great hands and very elusive. Gourdis, gezz the pace of this guy! burnt off opponents running off half back, and he's kick has improved a alot. Hopefully they will be given every chance.
 
I wasn't really sold on Putt, but I only saw the second half and had one eye on Richo, watching his every move over to my right. But given time he could be a good player.

I love Gourdis, he is friggen fast! Looked straight at this bloke, then just decides to hammer right past him. Couldn't see any problems with his disposal, looked quite neat actually. He also has a wonderful frame, that is already big but it could be added to massively. There was a big argument on another thread about him playing foward/back. I really hope we can get this guy up into the foward line because he has a great leap and an unreal burst off the mark.

They are key position players so they probably won't get a regular chance until their bodies mature. The trick is for them to keep their pace while putting on muscle to compete at the elite level.

cant wait till next season when we let these 2 freaks off their leesh !! and they are playing with the big boys ...
 
Can he ruck? ie Hit outs, I reckon he would be good around the ground as he is so mobile and he could rest in the pocket, but i heard that his ruck work needs work.
He impressed me late in the season in the TAC cup as a forward.

He can ruck really well. great around the ground.:thumbsu:
 
I really hope gourdis is left up foward. Could play CHF, with cleve at FF. Also we will have Jack who can go through there. Someone metioned in a previous thread that gourdis down back could be just a learning curve. From the sounds of it putt is gonna be a beauty.

from watching the draft highlights of this kid, i'M hoping he may be the one out of the box, height, pace, good hands and kick...If he can apply himeslf we may just have a hotshot on our hands:thumbsu:

He looks like turning out to be a very good player. If he plays foward or back will turn into a good player. Like i said i hope he plays foward at CHF or as you said bj at FF, just please leave him in the foward line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:p
 
i was really impressed with gourdis last year and really wanted carlton to draft the kid, you never know guys he might end up being richmonds buddy & putt becomes the roughead.
but the foward options are really starting to look good for richmond if all your kids can stay together & develope.
putt , gourdis , reiwoldt , hughes , morton , good tall timber & all under 21
good luck guys & hope we have plenty of blockbusters in years to come.
