All Friday night fixtures are out. Surprised Yeronga went div 4 North and Moreton Bay straight into div 3 north. Low on numbers in the north comp.
 
Looks like AFLQ just trying to get numbers in both comps. Hope for competitions sakes Moreton are up to it and Southport aren’t too dominant!

You’re probably right however why then have an odd number of teams across all divisions. Why wouldn’t they put UQ up in North and Eagles up in South? Then they’d have a comp of 8 and 10 instead of 7 and 11 in South and 8 and 8 in North instead of 7 and 9.

Are you questioning the almighty and all knowing AFLQ? There is a reason behind all of their decisions, once they figure out what that reason is, then we will know.
 
Guranteed they wanted an extra into Div 3 north and that’s where MB came in. Not sure they even had a prelim licence yet here they are.

Could’ve left Mayne up and pushed UQ up and balanced things somewhat. Yeronga is a pita to get to at the best of times coming from the Northside. Can see some teams cutting it fine getting there in a Friday night.

When you have their ear can you left me know the thoughts behind the final round in Div 4 North having just one game and all other teams with a bye?

We (UQ) said no to Div 3. Were pretty even with Ferny all year and have lost 3 of our best (in a team that generally has a high turnover due to uni already).

In all seriousness. Local afl teams need to lift there game. Be original and not name your team after a cat ffs. Rugby league does it way better. Parkes spaceman and the young cherry pickers to name a few …

For Freddy’s peace of find I think we’d have to declare upfront that the Parkes Spacemen be South Division.
