Can anyone vouch for a story I heard about these two movies?
Apparently, Working Dog took the Dish idea to financiers, who turned it down, saying it wasn't worth the money which would be spent on it.
So they brought out their backup plan ... The Castle. Response - Yeah, well this won't cost so much, so ... ok.
The Castle was a resounding success, and they went back to the financiers. "How about the Dish, now?"
Reply : "Yes, yes, OH MY GOD YES!"
