i am away rnd 1 up on the gold coast and was just wondering what the deal is with coverage up there, will i be able to see the game live or will it be on delay!
 
I was at the whitsundays last year and the games I saw pretty much get the same treatment as rugby does in Melbourne - televised after 11pm
 
Austar would be the best bet but who knows..

Above post correct it would be delayed i would think but you never know your luck

friday night games are live on foxtel or 9:30 on t.v both sat games live with one on fox, same as sat night. Sun early on fox, plus the twighlight game with arvo game live on t.v. not sure about thursday 20th March but i think it will be live on fox and 9:30 on tv.

Where abouts in Queensland will you be? Channel 10 is broadcasting your round 1 match (Port Adelaide-Geelong) it should be live here, the other match (Richmond-Carlton) is the channel 7 match and that won't be shown live. Channel 10 is great up here.
 
i will be on the gold coast, hoping like hell it will be live so i can watch it at a pub, or casino or even my hotel, just want to be able to watch it live!
 
Check the broadcast guide a week before you go, there are heaps of pubs at the Gold Coast or you can try the Southport Sharks club (AFLQ club). I'm sure it will be live on FTA Channel 10. Have a lovely trip to the Gold Coast. :thumbsu:
 
if channel 10 or 7 is broadcasting the game then there is a good chance it may be on live up there. But most likely it will be on Austar. You may have to go watch it in a club/pub
 
I live in QLD and they usually have a the friday night game on channel 518 which is on Austar. But those matches are on a thursday so probably will show them. They show one match ususally on Saturday Afternoon and Saturday Night on channel ten. Two more usually on Austar at the same time. Then They usually show the 1 o'clock game on seven and the other two on Austar. Any mondaay matches usually on TEN. Lions Matches are always on channel ten here
