Question - building an iphone app

Hi all,

Anyone know what program/software (preferably free) I can use to create an app page with a directory style layout similar to your phone contacts screen with letters/alphabet down right side for faster navigation (as below)

Obviously you'll need a Mac and you need to download a program called x-Code and you'll need to learn a language called be Objective-C.

Apple put out a programming language called Swift not all that long ago, but I don't have much of a clue about. I don't have much of a clue about O-C either.

There is heaps of shit out there on Google.

I should have mentioned I'm an IT noob. I'm after an app building/prototype tool that doesn't require any programming.
