Question re: Gamecube

I was at EB today and saw that Nintendo Gamecubes are on sale for $199.00 with a 2nd controller and Wrestlemania 19 thrown in for free.

To me this sounds like a pretty good deal. Just wondering if anyone here has any opinions on this system, such as quality and range of games, and longevity etc...

Is it worth the impulse buy?

There's 7 reasons to own one. (especially the first two)

I'm sure other people here can add more. (TheRealBuzz.....?)

If you're thinking about buying a Gamecube as your only console, you'd probably be better off looking elsewhere.

But if you already have a PS2 and/or Xbox and you're just looking for something a bit different, then I'd definately say it's worthwhile.

I couldn't live without Viewtiful Joe and F-Zero.

My brothers have one but I hardly touch it. But I hear there's a new Mario Kart coming out soon. Always loved Mario Kart.

Own all those except for Viewtiful Joe and SMB2, Those are all great games though.

There is a new X-BOX pack coming out november 6 at EB. Which is really good value it is a X-BOX, 2 contollers, DVD remote control which you need to play DVD'S and 2 games, Brute Force and midtown madness 3 which are good games. Also 3 months free subcription to x-box live. Price $370 I don't see any other christmas deal beating this one this year.

Mario Kart will be out by xmas as well.no need to buy a 4-way adapter as it alreadly has has four ports.should be awesome
