Yes there is!

The program is american and when it was first released a few years ago, it was ONLY for america. BUT they said they were working on it so it would be useable around the world!

Now though, it dosen't just say it only for the US, SO you might want to try it out and see if it works! IF it does, report back here and tell us!

ADSL is broadband internet connection. A **** load more expensive than the normal Dialup connection!

Living in Perth means nothing, It is available across Aus in main cities/towns. BUT it NOT available in the Sticks! (like where I live!!)

Go to the Telstra or Optus sites for more info and to see if it available in your area!
 
ADSL isn't necessarily a more expensive alternative to dial-up internet. It does however depend on how many times a day you connect to the net. Personally, I find my cable internet is a lot cheaper in comparison to when I was on 56k. When you add up the phone calls/monthly bill (roughly 20 dollars) it can definitely be a cheaper alternative.
