quitting your job

have any of you ever taken a permanant postition only to quickly find out that you HATE your job.?

I've only been permanant at my job for just over a month and words cannot describe how much i HATE it. However i feel so guilty about quitting because i'm responsible for about 10 accounts and i will be doubling someone elses work load.

I feel paralysed in this job and i just want to leave, can someone make me feel better about leaving

i didn't sell my soul, i just feel paralysed becasue i feel like to quit i will have to deal with confrontation which i usually avoid (except on BF of course)

Serioulsy, dont waste away at a job you hate. (I walked out on a dead end job and now am very happy where i am at the moment!)

Hand in your notice and give em time to fill your position, with someone who actually wants it!

I am in the same boat. I have a job starting in the US in September. I haven't told my boss I'm leaving yet and not sure how to. I think she already has some idea as I asked her to be a referee the other day.

Given that you sit on your ass all day posting on Big footy and fk knows what else, I dare say shedding those 10 accounts won't be much burden on someone who actually gives a sht about their job. Double all is still 5/8'ths of you know what.

So, yeah, walk out now, and get into the real world.
