how do you think the forecast rain will effect the game? are we going in too tall for a wet weather game? i personally think it may hamper our scoring power, however i still think we should be far from troubled by the pies, even with the wet weather.

I'd expect that Patto won't play as much and we'll only play 2 up forward. He will probably be more use than Knobel around the ground though if it is wet and scrappy so we may see him in the ruck, especially given the Pies' ruck stocks are slim.

Conditions should suit the slower Magpie midfielders so it will be important for Cogs and Tuck to really get in and do the dirty work. Krakouer's good hands in close could be useful in the middle.

We played quite well in the rain in Round 7 last year, with Richo kicking 7, so im not sure. Our current wet weather form may not be great, still we should beat Collingwood, will be much closer than some think.

it rained here in adelaide today (one or two small showers) and melbourne usually gets what we had the next day. weather.com says showers and 19 but who knows, they often get it wrong, fingers crossed it will stay dry until 5pm.

You are right on the money Darth. Somethimes durring summer if i see a 40 degree day at Adelaide Oval durring the cricket telecast I start frantically thinking of excuses of getting out of going into work.

But if a couple of light showers is all you had that shouldnt be too much of a factor.
