That's partly why I've always been a wrap for players like Tuck, Deledio, Tambling, Jackson and now hope we draft Morton to go with with his brother and McMahon Roachy. In a game where players can jump up to and sometimes over three metres in the air, cover so much ground, and defensively fill space all the time, good penetration with a long, fast, flat 55m+ kick is so important. Moving the ball quickly is vital and nothing is quicker than a long kick. Even better when it's an accurate one which hits a target precisely, but often just moving the ball fast creates opportunities.

Enter Jordan McMahon :thumbsu:

You say he's too midfield,
I say he isn't midfield enough.

Nar Nar Nar Raines isn't an AFL footballer, he was the WORST defender on our team this season, in the WORST team this season. Every week opposition coaches tried to isolate him and his opponent out in the goal square if they could.
And 2 he has shocking disposal.
I can't see him as a forward either!

Let's move DELEDIO to the midfield where he was born to play. We basically butchered DELEDIO! I spoke with an ex fremantle scout 3 months ago and he described Deledio as the most outstanding midfielders he had seen play at junior level and can't believe he isn't playing as a full time midfielder at Richmond. Get him in there NOWWWWWWW!
