Has dropped off considerably in the past few rounds. I'm hoping he can pick it back up again, because it's needed if we are going to make anything out of this season.

All depends on next few weeks. If we get on a roll they might all make it, but if we just win what we should but don't make finals then I reckon Cotch is a lock and the others don't make it.Rance, cotch, Maric will make it, jack and delidio will possibly make the squad. Up to five players are a chance for AA this year. But you know, we don't or cant develop players at tigerland.

If Petrie gets up, will certainly have this thread in the spotlight! Either way. ....(as in... he holds him to a couple....or he kicks a bag!)
Anyone know Griffs chances of playing? he may be a better option for Petrie
Well AA is just another politicised joke award - Cotchin will be overlooked because they just can't leave out Juddy, Gazza, at least one Colliwobble, a least one Cat because they've got to continue to reward them for the previous 5 years, probably Kennedy because Sydney needs the profile & the new golden boy coached by the old golden boy at the golden club.(Although he'll no doubt deserve it, it helps that his sash is the right colour and Trent's isn't.) Rightly or wrongly, Deledio is still percieved by many in the footy world as an underachiever who's still just short of elite and probably won't get picked until we play finals IMO. Cox will bolt in the ruck. If they choose a second ruck I reckon Jacobs will edge out Maric, because Adelaide will finish in the top 8, possibly top 4.I know one thing for sure.
If he gets overlooked, the ones saying he doesn't deserve it now will probably be the first ones going psycho about it on here.
Sorry, thought we were discussing whether he was just in or just out of AA contention! You reckon he's overrated and should be traded. That's a pretty punchy opinion Harmichael (that name should be banned on here) and seems to me you haven't watched much footy this year, or have a very short memory.
Rance has been the standout improver for 2 years now, and is recognised across the AFL, not just at Tigerland.
He was in AA form until he was smashed by Pavlich, since then he's been okay.
No, rance is best option, rewind effort on buddy
Griffs not playingSorry dude, totally different assignment is Petrie. Griff for me, Petrie can hold his ground in the contest. Tross is good but Petrie has the experience and strength to still take a mark even if the Tross puts on the body pressure. We need height for this dude and spoil..
Griffs not playing

As a duo they smashed the Swans. That game showed us what the future could hold.Started the year in fine form but has definitely dropped off a little, I assume due to the loss of his "Partner in Grimes"
Hope he makes the squad though, I reckon he's the best young key defender in the game
No doubt that losing his partner in crime was always going to have an affect. He's battled admirably but hasn't been at his best which is completely fair enough.I made a comment earlier that related to this, Grimes not being available means Rance has had to play on some players he isn't best suited to. Pav doesn't traditionally play as a tall strong key forward, he's a very agile hard leading / running mobile big man with the ability to play in the midfield. Grimes would have been the perfect match up he has more natural agility and closing speed. We had not plan A to go with.
