Just a quick snippet of information FWIW.

We were lucky enough to get invited into a flash box at the Tigers game last weekend. Some members of the Rance family were there, so we took the opportunity to ask whether Alex is considering a move to Freo next year. Some context, the conversation was very light hearted so, don't take it as Gospel...

Mom's first reaction was to rub her index finger and thumb together uttering "show me the money". She was very quick to follow-up with "no, no, it's not about the money".
Anyhow, I was left with the impression that he is open to a move and maybe, we might be in with a chance. Here's hoping finally we do well with a KPP in free agency.

We're a possibility but he also wouldn't be the first KPP to use Freo as a bargaining tool to get an extra 100K on his contract. We're the go to club for that and it would be incompetent for his manager to not shop him around like he really wants to come here.

Imo at $700k+ is a concern because of his other 'commitments'/wanting to retire early. If we win the flag, I suppose it be worth the punt to have another decent go at the flag again.

Has there ever been a big money signing from the east by Eagles/Freo before? Will be interesting to see if copes with the travel, as it can be hard for body clock and less preparation.
