With Rugby's death in most countries not named New Zealand, the World Cup is about as exciting as the League one these days.

I know NZ's dominance is impressive for such a small country, but is it really that incredible when you'd be hard pressed to find 4 million supporters in any other country that really give a sh*t about union?

Their recent success in cricket is far more impressive for mine.

According to Rugby people, Rugby is booming, everywhere but Australia.

My understanding is that at an international level it's in decline. Club land is doing ok in the UK and there is growth in the new minnow nations, US et cetera, but Australia, France and South Africa have been in decline for years.

And really if a tree falls in the woods and it isn't a gum tree, does it really matter?

Sports company Asics has apologised after screens outside a flagship store in Auckland, New Zealand, showed pornography for several hours.

Ran for nine hours until staff turned up to open the store. Quality problem solving, New Zealand!

I don't mind the Godzilla movies, but after watching the most recent one i feel it was really missing more mech Jaegers.. Humans shooting an M4 at a giant monster has never worked, so why do they think it will this time (it doesn't even slow them down ffs). You see what happens when trade radio is on.. I start thinking of Godzilla/Pacific Rim crossovers.

Pretty sure you are just thinking about Pacific Rim.

I'll see you Midland and raise you Thornlie. I'm not certain if the constant smell of cigarettes and beer is from the passengers, or if it's seeped into the seats over time.

One delightful 7am I had a girl who'd clearly been up all night on her mobile agreeing to go halfsies on the drugs her friend was purchasing for them.

So Trainspotting 2 didn’t have quite the same magic as the original but was still enjoyable
Thats the first trainspotting movie i saw and it made me watch the first one. I always knew heroin is ****ed up but that movie opened my eyes.

Dad got me a huge wagyu ribeye steak and I have huge pressure not to **** this one up for my self. I cook steak on the reg but not this big or this quality. What's the advice to cook this.

Note: I only have an oven and stove.

Sear it on high flame for 1min first side, 30seconds on the other. Let it sit for a few. Eat it with your hands in public, let the blood stain your shirt.

I might just butter base and then boil it. I heard it's the rage atm.

You really do need a BBQ. Unless you're working with a commercial stove or something. Leave it out at room temp for a while so you're not searing a fridge cooled steak. Olive oil, salt, pepper, throw it on a grill pan if you have one, then finish it in the oven to your liking.

I grabbed some burger kits from Ryan's Quality Meats yesterday and dayumm they were good. They sell their own mince blend patties, potato milk buns and high melt cheese. On par with a Short Order or RoyAls, seriously.
