solid start offensively but defensively yuck. although saints games under our gameplay should have more disposals you can see teams like hawks and dogs rank much much better on opposition averages. but our soft run in the 2nd half of the year should bring them down, also we play no KPD's and its 2016.

could he be all australian this year? outside of steven he has our best shot since our 2nd half to the year is a soft draw. most underrated saints player in the last 15 years by a long way.

too many good stats to go through but this is the jack we all love. reckon he could skipper us.


Newnes

raise you hand if you thought newnes would be 3rd at the club in possessions and 27th in the comp? yep no one

beast of a mid but getting a lot more attention now compared to steven last year. future skipper hmm don't love it IMO.

Hickey
4th in hitouts and 4 total hitouts behind goldy this year . I'm sure someone knows where to get HO's to advantage

Lonie
has kicked 5 goals in the first 3 games, although he hasn't got over 12 touches in any game. if only he wouldn't get nervous having a set shot then he could easily kick 35 this year with our open attacking play off turnovers

ROO
just another year for the champ, top 5 in marks again (yawn) with a half on the bench.

I didn't see him going this well but my big improvers were Newnes, Webster and Seb as all were the right age and amount of games to step it up. Newness stats last year had him just behind Steven Armo and joey with him 4th or 5th at the club for nearly every stat and the late season form being dragged back because of a slow start in the transition onto the wing.
