Rat in roof

Got a rat stuck in the roof. Laid poison but not working. Snuck in under a tile. How to get rid of? Distance between roof line and tile bout a metre. Not sure if it is trapped or not

If it's still there lay more poison and take away all other sources of food. Put a bit of peanut butter on a wire connected to a battery? Be innovative I had a frog under my decking croaking all night and I sprayed the area with salt water. Everything has a downfall you just need to know what it is

Put a cat up there. Then when cat gets stuck and starts yowling put a dog up there. And then, when the dog starts howling... move!
