Cotchin has Ablett's basic kicking style (copied?), but the similarities end there. Ablett is a much longer and more accurate kick, much better on his non-preferred, way more dangerous in front of goal, much much better defensively,reads the play much better, tackles a heap more, is much faster, more skilful and a heap more talented. Otherwise they're identical.

I could go through the vast majority of our Blues players and list testing results that show why they’re fitter and stronger than they’ve been before.

But, if I had to pick just one player to keep an eye on it would be Bryce (Gibbsy) Gibbs.

While Gibbsy has been an incredibly consistent performer already in his short career at Carlton, he looks appreciably fitter and stronger than he’s ever been.

He’s been the standout for mine on the training track so far.
