Well done and welcome. I wonder what the next wacky scheme will be to get him to Norf?

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.

And I suppose his next stop is Optus Oval where he'll drop Stevens into a navy blue sock.

Santa Claus promised me a premiership and another Carlton wooden spoon.

Good to get the official annoucement at long last!!!!

Haha, my female mate barracks for Geelong and she LOVES Rawlings....

In the early stages after the season it looked pretty certain he'd end up at Geelong, which made her more happier... I kept on teasingher by saying "hey did ya hear Rawlings is coming to the Dogs"

At this stage, it was all fun and games, hahaha how ironic things turned out this way (before the brown arrangement)...

Can't wait to see her Saturday night!!!!!!

MEOWWWWW

Haha very nice!! :D

"Someone has planted a bomb in our premiership aspirations in a couple of years of time", says President Aylett "and it could affect my presidency. Think of the casualties north of the Melbourne CBD!".

"I'll do my best, Mr President" says Bauer, but his mind isn't really there.

He knows he should have talked Kim out of her holiday in Adelaide and that she has a weakness for men called Wayne....

You've got to hand it to Rohder and his men. At first we all thought we'd been r*ped in the trading period, but they said they were going to play hardball and they showed some guts. It came off and now it has probably worked out to be the best trading period this club has had.

As for his position, if there's any doubt about the management of his knees, then full-forward is the spot to be. Rohde said last week that they would play Grant in the backline because it would be the best way for him to recover, so that settles things really. Bandy and Darcy can alternate through CHF with Bowdo and Skipper developing on the flanks in the the pockets. Walsh (W-A-L-S-H) will probably get a run as well and might provide another marking target.

I understand doubts about Bandy, but I don't believe there's any problem with his ability. His athleticism is hard to match up on and his marking can be quite strong. The only real doubt stems from his lack of football smarts, but as long as he doesn't spend the whole time there, it won't be too much of a liability.

Well that's just Kool and the Gang!

welcome aboard Jade:cool:

Fortune favours the bold. Well Done Clayton & Rhode. Mr Clayton and Mr Rhode

Now, doesn't he look nice in red, white and blue?

Wecome, Jade! A gutsy move by the club.

The administration of the club is often criticized but I think they have done very well now that they are allowed to work back towards 100% of the salary cap. Over the last few years they have hardly been able to trade for a player which has impacted the club in a big way.
Now that Rawlings is 'happy' to be a Dog how does everybody rate their performance during the trade period ?
With Rawlings signed, sealed and delivered I think there might be a few more rock up to the sign up day as well. Now if we could just snare another sponsor.

With Clayton and the draft to follow, I think we have had a great start to the 2004 season.

Awesome to wake up this morning at hear it on the 5.30 news...certainly woke me up! Congrats to everyone involved in pulling this off. Some achievement really as i thought before the trading period that there was no way we were going to get Rawlings.
