Hopefully this weekend will be a cracker.
We will probably loss to you by 1-2 goals
But anyway, I read that its a melbourne "home away from home game".
With the good recent form both teams are in although the ladder doesnt show it, and the growing support at each games each team is getting.
It would be great if we could get around 45 000 or more at the "g" next Saturday between 2 great rivals.
I know that of late more Hawthorn supporters have been showing up and wouldnt be suprized if 25 000 showed up this weekend, but it would also be nice to see a great number from the Mighty Melbourne footy club show out.
In the years gone by our clubs have drawn excellent crowds againt one another, showing the drawing power each of our teams have, but by creating a finals type atmosphere will do both sides the world of good.
After all our kids need as many big game experience they can get-theve had 3 this season, while Melbourne need as much practise they can get before the big dance comes along, because IMHO there a shoe in to make the top 4.
So if you know any Melbourne or for that matter Hawthorn fans, tell em to turn out this weekend, for a good old tussle between 2 sides willing to give 110%, infront of hopefully a big crowd.
btw, Im not just saying this because its a Hawthorn home game
, but I would be saying it to Hawthorn supporters if it was a Melbourne home game.
