Just wondering if there are many out there who have read any of Robert Rankin's books, specifically the Brentford series?
If you like a goddamn funny read, and you are any sort of a fan of, say, Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams (or anyone funny really), then I strongly recommend you pick up some of these books and have a read. Featuring characters such as the unforgettable Jim Pooley and John Omally, Rankin's work is just awesome. He has such a unique writing style and take on life. And did I mention he was funny?
Try some of these titles:
Really good stuff.
