The Female ones always seem to pizz me off. I've taken one to court and had another fired. Whatever deal has been brokered, I have always felt I have been shafted as does the other party probably. Though they do seem to work very hard and long hours.

Some real shockers, for sure. An acquaintance of mine is selling investment properties, with his wife the registered agent. Together they operate a reputable business, and both are committed Christians.

I dunno, good and bad in many vocations. I could list a few "entepreneurs" that this country has fostered (pun intended) that have been treated as heroes prior to their downfall.

A pox upon their neat, two bedroom townhouses.

As a renter, I had a particularly sweet victory over an agent last year... she organised two inspections in the place of a month. Two months later, she said "the owners are coming on this date from Canberra (to Brisbane), they want to see the house". D*cked off, I rang the tenancy people, who said they need to leave three months between inspections... and the date they arrived was exactly one day LESS than three months. Smugly, I informed her of this, and despite her pleas, told her they couldn't come, Canberra or no Canberra.

That showed her.

Now that I think of it, she kept most of our bond.

I have only ever come across one decent real estate agent. She is a very genuine and helpful person who has a heart of gold. Amazingly enough, she detests 99% of real estate agents herself and even went as far as to liken them to ****roaches! I must admit I was shocked to hear this.

P.S thanks for the censorship on a little vermin that would probably be the only thing to survive a nuclear war (well along with the real estate agents anyway).. Its going a little far isn't it? Might as well just type *** ***** ****, ***** *** and let everyone just guess at my comments

Well don't we need a thread for who is the biggest scum ie estate agents, journalists, lawyers etc.

Besides, estate agents are only nice when they are really good at sucking you in and then later will invent reasons why it is a very good idea to spend money on this or that.

They are rare when they actually do what you ask when playing landlord for you BUT at the right price. But usually that is after you have paid a mozza for the new house and actually do what you ask in getting the right tenants who will never do anything wrong anyway.

If you have good tenants who want something fixed, they will never get around to telling you and waste time. If you have bad tenants then they will be at you saying it costs this much to get them out and keep adding up the price.

I have had dubious experiences so I call them imperial scum. I don't have any as friends. Thank god.

And lawyers. Our local firm is in a load of trouble at present and is facing hundreds of charges.
I'd hoped lawyers ethics were high but it seems not.

I hoped also that after spending large amounts with them over the years, I'd get a share of the 1/2 mil. they have already paid back but no such luck.
