Another season...another chance to go somewhere.....another let down.

If any of you here actually think that Daniher will ever get Melbourne a premiership...then you don't know anything about football. It's time we, the supporters, starting raising our voices to the club (if you haven't already). No more joking around. Melbourne can do something, but under the current coaching staff will never achieve greatness.

Even if we do win a couple of games (maybe even next week)...so what?! Even if we make the 8....so what?? We will never win a premiership under him...never.

Reality...time to accept it people.

I dont think its purely Daniher, i dont think the other coaches have much of a clue either.

We should try to get Ratten back, i know he left for personal reasons, the trip to training everyday was too long and tough etc. so give him the top job for gods sake, hes good enough, look how good our midfield looked in that year, 2004 i think it was.

top job might be a bit dramatic. I know that he might not have the greatest coaching credentials but someone like Garry Lyon perhaps? he is highly respected at Melbourne and would immediatly have the respect of the players. I think that someone like that is needed instead of searching around for recently sacked coaches like Frawley, Ayres etc

the players have it in them. a bit of maturity down back and some slight rejigging of the midfield and forward line and we have a premiership capable side. Sydney showed that the most skilled team aint always the most succesful.

A coach with a five year plan would be fine. Seriously, looking at our forward line, we are really in trouble in say 2 years time and I don't see any shining lights down in Sandy at the moment. And defence is a worry too. Loads of good midfielders don't win games if there isn't a forward to finish it all off.

West coast made the grand final just that way
