I have him as Kenneth John Ward - in 1967 electoral rolls there is a Kenneth John Ward living in Burwood (player came from Ashburton so this makes sense) - subsequently moved to Mentone and has occupation "Sales"

Right okay, so he's Kenneth John Ward in AFL files.
So that matches the QLD guy - but there's only a probate it seems, so doesnt even tell me dob/age to see if I'm on the right track. Obviously there's a family member Bradley , so that's a start. Not sure what other avenues I can try - so I've simply emailed the Law Firm to see if they can shed any light on this without breaching privacy. Will keep you updated Screenshot 2026-05-22 at 12.08.42 pm.webp

No luck with the law firm.
Just wondering for those who have Ancestry - does anything come up for this Kenneth John Ward who died in 2025 ; even if we knew some sort of age range is could confirm he is the Richmond player of the same name.

I'm confused now. What you posted talksa bout a Kenneth John Ward with probate July 8 2005! ... the guy I was posting about had a probate of 2025
So when I search on your link it does indeed say 2005 , in an edition that was uploaded in 2026 ?
If these are the same guy then it wont be the richmond player and I'm confident he was alive certainly the last few years

Butting in here, but July 8 2005 is the date of the will. This shows the Probate date:

I took it to mean the will was entered and proved on the early dates

Though I can be wrong on that

Bradley James Ward is most likely the son of Kenneth John Ward. This could well be his business (it's registered to someone with that name):
1780379461177.webp
That postcode is the same as the one here (aged care place):
1780379532041.webp
Perhaps you could try contacting the aged care place, or even this business: https://au.locale.online/brads-home-solutions-1274394746.html
A phone number is shown via that link. The business was based at the address shown there for many years, but according to ABN Lookup it changed in August 2025.
