Since carlton wont sign LAPPIN up we should go get him -he is only 27-28 and a 3 year contract would be ok - and what about BARTEL from Geelong - he is worth 300000 that geelong are to tight to pay - what would you trade for Bartel...first or second round pick......???

Lappin will be 30 before next season starts.

Bartel seems more like a grunt player...is he quick? He's also not that consistent either.

Bartel slow, but good enough to get away with it. I dunno if he's inconsistent. Maybe between his blinders, but he's no Leon Davis in this regard.

if bartel is somehow a chance to leave the cats, i would in no way hesitate to have a crack at him, he is a classy player, something we lack. we'd be stupid not to have a go at him.

U SERIOUS? someone even close to being interested in the dud of the year walker, cole maybe but he hasnt done enough for us to get a top line player for him. i would keep cole on for atleast another year his had a crap year coz of injury and stuff.

Trade tarrant for bartel and tenace!
lappin would only be suitable if he was free, not worth any trades

You could get either Bartel or Lappin in the pre season draft - we wil end up with third pick after Carlton and Hawthorn - we also could end up with a priority pick if we dont win or draw any more games - that would be hard as we have Carlton in a couple of weeks. That would give us 3rd pick in the draft instead of 5th - and that marc murphy would be ok - providing he does not go to BRIS on father son rule.

Lappin would be worth a 3rd round pick and one of the players thats going anyway.
