Ya gonna go far
I used to have this one where I'd be peeking over the front fence at my childhood home, and about 73 metres away on the corner, were these monster thinies.. Id be peaking between a lil gap in the fence and then one of them would look at me, and spot me from 73 metres and start chasin me.

Id only have like 5 metres to the front door, but for somne reason my legs could never quite cover the distance. But for an equally perplexing reason, the monsters never got me.

As an intruiging sidenote (well to me anyway) it was years later when a GF at the time bought me a bookj called, "Where The Wild Things Grow".

Now as far as I could and can remember, Id never ever seen that book before, but THEY WERE the monstors in my dreams

Also used to have this dream when I was sick where Id be a giant in my room, was like a kinda hallucination.. But I never really worked out if I was a giant in my room..or a midget. Was very weird.... And Im not even going to get into the ones where I could feel my jaw and teeth changing into the shape of a vampire.

Do you have any weird recurring nightmares/dreams?

All that we see or seem, is but a dream within a dream. EAP.

I sleep about 3 hours a night. Recurring nightmares are my middle name! wont mention what they are tho, dont want anyone to think im a looney or anything

I had one very similar to yours...... i had to run from a lion, yet my legs were stuck. As soon as the lion is about to get me i wake up.

Every month or so, i have a dream where i fall, and wake up and feel like im still falling.

And i once had a dream and it was exactly the same as a movie i had never seen before.....they had to take a potion and they would never die. And this lady gets a hole in her stomach area, and like 2 years later it was on T.V.
Don't remember the name of the movie.

Pretty sure everyone has those dreams, or variations of them...want to run, but can't move, want to scream, but no sound comes out...

Obviously I'm just far too awake...Two Milo bars for dinner doesn't help ;)

Yeh, when I was sick as a kid I used to have some whacky hallucinations where I was kinda half awake and half asleep. The recurring ones involved me being on a giant pool table trying to run from giant billiard balls which were always right about to crush me. I think it was because there was a segment on sesseme st with a rolling billiard ball or something. The second recurring one involved me boogie boarding on a giant black and streaks of multicolour wave which continued to grow until it dumped me. But the dreams always involved me either being tiny or giant.

The worst recurring nightmare I used to have was sinking to the bottom of a water filled place, whether it be a pool, the ocean or ancient underwater ruins. It would start out that it was awesome to see the things around me, but then even though I knew I was underwater, I couldn't rise to the surface. It was as if I was trying to swim in thin air.

I hardly dream at all.... very very rarely do I ever have a dream. I can only think of 2 dreams I have had in the last 5 years.... 1 was of my ex-girlfriend that I used to work with about 7 years... and we were flirting at work... and the other was from about my grandfather about 2 weeks after he died giving me advice on life.... but I don't see these as dreams.. because they were so realistic it was more like a visit.

I just about never remember my dreams, but I used to have a nightmare where Superman would stop a rocket taking off and then there was nothing but white everywhere in my mind. Scared the ******** out of me as a ten year old.

Perhaps you were Superman in a past life, and while trying to save the earth from this obviously dastardly rocket, it blew you up, saving the earth.

Or maybe it's a future life you're dreaming of and we're all Supermen and women. In that case, it's too hard to say whether the earth survived the blast or not.

The whiteness was the most scary part. Obviously some kink in my psyche that needs to be worked out.

Although I'm pretty sure I'm ubermench in this life...

I had this series of dreams where my grandmother (who'd passed away a few months before) kept calling me and saying she was really sorry to hear about my father. And I would say to her 'but YOU are dead, he's here' and all she would say over and over was she was sorry to hear about dad.

Not long after, he had a full breakdown and was in hospital for months. PTSD was the diagnosis. So yeah those dreams did freak me out for a while after!!

Oh...Umm BTW, I don't think I've ever had one.

Who thinks we have these dreams for a reason? Like.....having chocolate fall from the sky means u want to be spoilt

My mum used to always dream that when she got out of the shop, she couldn't remember where she parked the car. So she thought it was stolen.
