Have noticed an increasing trend of yellow balls being supplied as match balls these days. Often a choice of 1 red, 1 yellow - sometimes even 2 yellows. I understand that with rising costs it's easier to re-use a yellow match ball at training but do players have any real preference on what they're happier using?

Skills drop big time with an old ball. Colour shouldn't be that much of an issue but when reserve and U/18 games get second hand/used balls it can often stand out.

I don't play anymore but I would find it frustrating if you had to kick around a training ball week in, week out.

I don't think the red and yellow ones make much of a difference as long as they are new, the one ball I think is terrible is the pink one used for the breast cancer week, they seem to float and just don't kick right. Only my opinion!
