Gday tried to join along time ago but only have a hotmail wondering if the rules still apply about joining with telstra account or whatever thanks dan

I have the same problem. why don't they allow hotmail users to sign up. its the only e-mail address I have. should I get a yahoo address just to sign up for it??? or some other e-mail address

Pity you cant get on. I have Optus Broadband and had no trouble getting on a few years back.

Oh yeah great if you are part of the RWO clique, but if you are not the RWO's ignore you. Also its way too conservative for my liking these days.Sure they try and come across as intelligent discussion, which there is nothing wrong with that at all, but as soon as you say anything negative about the club or anything negative at all the mods pounce on you. Though they allow a few others to run crazy especially one poster called RoK.

Its a very cliquey forum.

Diego, I have only ever met one of them. I am for ever getting caned for questioning Leo Barry's inability to create something with his disposals. If only he had the brains of Kennelly.

I actually thrive on some the bull dust people come up with. I have been called on a number of occasions a moron and fruitcake for my opinions. At least ROK doesn't get personal and I think he has beaten off a lot of his detractors because he doesn't get offended by their cracks.

I think lately detractors of players have well and truly held their own. Those who dont want "their boys" bad mouthed seemed to have gone away somewhat.

Still I enjoy any Swans news, banter and opinion and just delight in the absolute despair of the saints supporters.

I have nothing against you nico. It just seemed like too much of a tight unit and as soon as someone new joined up then they would be ignored between "inhouse" jokes and chat about making biccies.

It just doesnt seem as welcoming as other fan sites i have been in. They are very protective bunch about anything redandwhite. Which is good but sometimes they just go a bit too far.

Anyway I am not a part of it as i was banned 3 days (can you believe it) before the Grand Final b/c i had a go at ROK and his mate Sanecow. And the grand poobahs decided i was the one to go.

Anyway i couldnt give a hoot no more.

I've been a regular (read: addict ) on RWO for a couple of years now - still log in regularly since going overseas. I enjoy reading your opinions Nico - tough-minded but fair most of the time. Fruitcake.

Sucks you got banned Diego - I never really had a problem with anything you posted. I suppose RWO is a tight unit as forums go, even though I'm not a regular anywhere else, but I get along fine with the ones I know, and while I admit to indulging in some of the "inhouse" chat and in-jokes you speak of, mostly I don't mind the banter, as long as you don't take it too seriously and look out for the threads you're interested in. Just be careful what you post as you are likely to get your head bitten off by one of the regulars otherwise. Apparently having a thick skin seems to be a pre-requisite for posting these days.

I had the same problem when joining RWO...I had a hotmail account and couldn't get in. I ended up scouting around the Internet trying to find another email provider and finally signed up for an account at mail.com. I registered witht the mail.com account and finally got in.

yeah I had one of those accounts too but lost the password.
