seems like you have most that come to mind. Pointsbet stadium (although mainly related to the leagues club), concord oval which will is essentially a rebuild for the wests tigers. kooyong and Melbourne Park are also having a refresh.

The State Government made the announcement in front of more than 4000 ecstatic football fans at a community festival attended by Kerr and her CommBank Matildas teammates on Friday 27 October 2023.

There was talk of it but I reckon the Eagles have already got what they wanted out of the Demons ie a nice ground close to the city/Optus Stadium that they could redevelope to suit themselves. So the Eagles won’t spend any more than they need to and I don’t think the Demons have cracker to their name.

Yes, I was opposed to the idea in the beginning, knocking down so many old trees, but in the end it turned out OK and the city end of the ground hasn't changed much.

NSW are spending an awful lot on rugby league. I wonder why Souths are setting up a facility in what I thought was Roosters territory.

Anyway, nice thread. Just wanted to point out it seems a bit weird saying Allan Border Field is in Albion while also saying Brighton Homes Arena is in Brisbane, when Albion is an inner suburb of Brisbane while BHA is in Springfield, which is technically not in Brisbane.

Seems to have been talked about for years now but still at Waverley.
Have there been unforeseen delays or downgrades etc ?

number of clubs have redevelopments underway .... port springs to mind .... freo and eagles have recently finished work on their training grounds (or are close to) .... vaguely recall rumours melbourne were close to finalising plans for a training facility (this ones a little vague so happy to be corrected)

Carlton have just completed their major redevelopment.
Have also heard talk of a refurbishment of the Gardiner Stand as a finishing touch.

Whitten oval currently resembles a construction site and i believe Brisbane has just moved into a new facility …
