When does it got from being proud of the efforts of someone, to just trying to get some reflective glory over the accomplishments of a friend, family member or associate?
Take for example my brother Mark.
He has just turned 18 & He is currently:
- Oceania junior judo champion(U20)
- Australian Junior wrestling champion - Greco roman & freestyle.
- No 2 ranked senior in judo & may make the Olympics in Beijing in 2008
- Australian Freestyle wrestling champion & may make the Olympics in Baijing in 2008.
I love to tell people about the accomplishments of him as he has dedicated so much time & effort to reaching his goal but don't want to look like I am basking in the credit that is due to him.
What I would like to know is if you have any family or friends who are having an impact in their chosen sport & what is it they do?
PS: Please do not say I have crossed the line when I post his accomplishments on Big Footy.
