Reilly is a week away and as far as I am concerned you can have Mattner. Begley on the other hand is not going anywhere.
Mattner will stay another week surely. Who is going to replace Goodwin and Marsh, let alone Mattner?

I hope you're right about Clarke.
As I said in the other thread, if anyone bags Clarkey ever again will get a big kick up the arse from me. Macca23 says he'll join in the action as well:p

If those 3 come back I give us a chance against Melbourne, otherwise I am doubtfull. This time Perrie has to start at CHF and present himself all day long. burton must be our FF for the day with Welsh out of the pocket. Burns and Ladhams as crumbers with Ladhams rotating through the midfield as well.;)

Doubtful? Come on! We have a two day head start on Melbourne in preparing for this game, plus they have to travel. Despite our form and injuries, we really should nail this one coming off an unexpected loss.

You can have Mattner - not convinced he is in our best 22 at the moment - but given injuries at the moment - if your fit, you play!

Begley is not going back to sturt. Mr Hotstuff is holding his own at the moment and I have been pleased with what I have seen so far.

Will Sturt make the finals? It's only top 4 this year.

Too many players out, didn't look interested against Hawks. Who will match up on Neitz, Johnstone, Yze?????? If Clarke doesn't come back, We are depleted in the ruck. No forward line structure what so ever. I think I am right in worrying but I have faith in our boys as this is a must win game.;)

I don't see the match up on Neitz as a worry - well no more than usual. Since we basically have a fully fit defence - with the exception of Crowell. Bassett or Smart would get the job, even maybe Hart, plenty of options.

Johnstone and Yze? I was under the impression these guys were way down on their form of last season. But then again Crawford and Mitchell did tear us apart so I do hope we get Stenglein back. We should still have the midfield to beat them, even without Goodwin and Bode, hopefully Doughty, Gallagher and Ladhams can step up.

You said that Hawks forward line doesn't worry you but they functioned much better than ours:( We are seriously depleted and if we win against melbourne it will be one of the better victories. Interestingly as disappointing as we have been if we win against Melbourne we will only be one game off from where we were this time last year and last year we were lucky with injuries.;)

I'm nominating you as coach for the day young Stiffmeister!!! ;)

You're making a lot more sense than some of Ayresy's coaching moves in the last few weeks!!! :)

Thanks mate but I will pass. It would be way too stressful and any more stress than what I am under at the moment will be suicidal. ;) If we loose to Dees I don't think I could hadle it along with the extra pressure of exams.

That's debatable, I reckon they had a lot more supply. Although I do concede I was wrong about Holland.
