Renting.

Hey everyone.
I wasn't sure where else to put this thread.
I was offered a job in Blackburn and I'm just wondering if anyone knows of cheap rental properties nearby. I'm only 18 so the job obviously isn't a huge paying job. I'm open to anything.

Probably best to check a real estate website mate. Just as a little rule of thumb; from Blackburn, the further north and east you go the cheaper it will get, depending of course on how far you are prepared to commute.

Mitcham, Nunawading or Ringwood maybe. I'd recommend trying to stick to somewhere near the trainline. You might want to head south towards Glen Waverley but it all depends on your transportation and budget. As year of the roo said, once you head back towards the city it starts getting expensive. Are you sharing or going solo?

Yeah I would want to stick close to a train line, I do have a car but I might sell it and pay out the loan and ride my bike.
It doesn't bother me whether I share or go alone.
