Resident Evil Series

Does anybody else enjoy these games? I'm one of the biggest fans and have been since day one. I remember when RE: 1 came out, i buyed it at Target without having a clue what it was about and i'v been hooked ever since. I'm strongly thinking about buying a Game Cube soon (well accutally i will be, no doubt) and i'll be buying RE: Remake, RE : 2, 3, 4 and zero. I currently have 1, Directors cut, 2, 3, Code Veronica X, Outbreak and the Survior games. I recently started playing them again and i'm a Resident Evil fanatic AGAIN. I enjoyed both the movies, although they didn't really stick to the story lines but it was still pretty cool to see somethings that you knew from the games. My favourite charater is Wesker, bad arse with the slick hair and black sunnies. It was kinda weird that he came back in CV though but i guess they explained it well enough. Resident Evil 2 is my favourite game with Nemisis coming up a close second.

I can't beleive how much i missed these games with all the puzzles, shooting and crazy creatures.

Anybody else a fan and if so, give us your thoughts and favourites!

Yep I really like the series the only thing that ever put me off the games was all the loading and the longer than normal loading times. Good idea though pretty much a genre starter. Though I think Silent Hill is better

Yeah, I've been an addict for a long time. Probably my favourite game series next to Suikoden.
I've purchased all three consoles, so cornered the market, and it was all pretty much down to RE.
Resident Evil Remake is probably one of the most beautiful games I've played, and it tends to fill in many of the plot holes from the original version, for example Bravo team.
Just recently got Outbreak, so still messing about with that. Like the concept, but not impressed with the virus percentage. That gets a little annoying. Plus, so of the AI characters ******** me off.
Not impressed with the movies. It takes away a lot from the atmosphere making that bloody character Alice and giving her 'super human powers'. What a load of crap! Makes it look like a comic book rather then a survival horror, where the point is, a bunch of your normal, everyday people have to escape hell on earth. That's what happens when you fire George Romero.
Speaking of George Romero, he's making a new 'living dead' movie. 'Land of the Dead'. Should be good. There's also going to be a game, 'City of the Dead'. It may topple Capcom's grip on the survival horror market. Though ID and Doom 3 are looking good.
