ive got to admit... today ray hall did very well, hopefully he can continue this

I hate Ray Hall.

Eptimised everything about Richmond during the tough years. Just not good enough.

Although the boys helped him out by not allowing Pav near it my hate off to Hall. Great job today.

:)

he did okay but the ball hardly went near pavlich, when he gave that stuipid 50 away at the start i thought that was going to be the begining of the end for us, still the sooner Schultz comes back the better

Good point Cairo .

The boy has been on the recieving end of a fair baking on here in recent times , did a top job on the weekend though , can`t be denied .

Let`s wait till he strings a few together though before we go blowing smoke up his arse

Far more importantly, Andrew Kellaway improved 100 percent on his last few weeks. I think if he and Gas can continue to get back to their best we will be far more competitive. These two are far more creative than Rayzor, even if their kicking can let them down, they still read the ball well and can make intercepts. Ray Hall played well but I think we've just seen his whole bag of tricks.

He did well and Joel Bowden certainly noticed his performance as did all his other teammates. Bowden was interviewed after the game and Grybas and Healy and so on were saying how good our talls were but forgot to mention Hall and Bowden was real quick to mention him

We're not going to play finals with Ray Hall in the team. Congratulations to him on playing well, but gee some ppl go on like he's gonna lead us to the top 8.

If the theory about 100 monkeys in front of typewriters will eventually write you a shakespeare script after is right, Ray Hall played his first good game against a carrer of bad ones.

Bowden certainly knows what its like to be the target of the boo boys so its good to see him sticking up for Hall. Small signs but good signs of team-mates looking out for each other.

sorry 1980 but i must disagree. his best game was the semi final in 2001 against carlton. close to b.o.g that day. he has had a handfull of really good games but has played some inglorious ones i will conceed. i wouldnt write him off yet.

You are right, although I thought my post came across (or should have) as tongue in cheek. He was up for bog that day along with Steven Sziller and Nick Daffy who got the credit only cos he did his shoulder.

And anyway, that was 4 years ago.

Hall is tall, athletic and mobile...a very promising combination, but alas he's also footy-dumb. The potential made him worth sticking with in the hope that he'd learn, and maybe with a new coach he will, but unless he shows some signs of it I suspect his current contract will be his last.

fair point it was a long time ago. i do think however that he has show that he has the ability, and if he can learn to not do the stupid things he has done in the past, he could still be a quality player imho. he would be a huge bonus if he came good.

Good stuff DT. I hope he comes good. Just that we're always pumping up these lanky types at our football club. Hall reminds me too much of David Bourke and Matthew Francis.

He's not going to develop a footy brain, so I hope he bulks up like Lou Ferringo. I'll send him a copy of Arnie's video Pumping Iron.
