Revealing Photos

I'm sure that, just for a moment, you thought I had Michael Gardiner sniffing, Ben Cousins buying the Sunday Times or the kuepper-khat cross-town rival coupling on video.

But, sadly not. I was in Central Park (big office block in Perth for those who don't know) this morning and they have a particularly attractive collage of photos - Cathy Freeman, firefighters in action, cricket players catching etc. What really caught my eye was the two photos (next to each other) that sum up this town.

First there's Mainy in mid air, leaping from the MCG bench with a broken leg in 92 as we win the flag. Then there's two kids in the purple, green and white walking through deserted seats with a banner that says "Please Win Freo, We Can't Stand Losing Any More".

Ah, memories.

If that's the one I'm thinking of, it's a fantastic photo - my favourite from all of the photos from that day. The look on Rob Wiley's face in the background is just magic

I noticed that there were a lot of sporting photos in the Central Park foyer but never had a chance to check it out. I'll have to at lunch.
