So flat. How the f*ck is nobody defensive side of Gray? So shattering that defensive structures as simple as that has cost us a chance at finals. Numb.

Don't see it the same way as many here. We should have got the win and would have been the best one yet for this group. We outplayed them in most facets of the game but didn't hit the scoreboard. We never gave up. The last minute was gut wrenching and I honestly still can't quite believe that happened. Reality is though we were smashed on clearances all night, it was a huge weakness and it cost us at the death.

I'm actually proud of that performance. For some reason many feel the need to pot the players and the coaches but I saw tonight that we're heading in the right direction. Can still make finals too but it will be hard.

It's right up there with the most painful losses ever as a supporter of the club. A Membrey goal with a minute and a half left puts us out of reach pretty much in a low scoring wet game. With finals on the line, we somehow conspire to concede 2 goals in that short time.

It is so incredibly painful supporting this club at times.

Our bad kicking in the first 3 quarters cost us again, kick straight and we wouldn't lose that game.

Honestly thought yous cut us up everywhere except inside your 50. If yous can bring that play for the rest of the season but with a bit better goal kicking I'd love to see St Kilda back in finals.

In the context of our season it's a totally unacceptable loss. Have a game 2 goals up with 120 seconds on the clock and lose. Effectively kissed finals goodbye doing so.

We showed some ticker for the first time in a few weeks but the same old problems continue to plague us. Kick straight and it's a different result. Serious changes are needed on the goal kicking front.

Why was Robbie Gray allowed to just run towards 50 like that? Who was his man?

Crushing loss. The last quarter showed what happens when we kick straight. It was always going to be hard to win the game after being 3.12 at 3/4 time. To be in front with a minute to go was pleasing, losing the game was crushing.

Really positive signs from McKenzie and White. DMac was cracking in hard and White was very composed. Hope they can play for the rest of the year.

And Dunstan looks like he is starting to be the player we all hoped in the last two games. Seems to have a lot of space in traffic, smart with the pill and kicking a few sausages. If he can finish the year strong, reckon he could have a big 2018.

Midfield loses its ****ing mind with 20 seconds left. Fair enough gray got loose but nobody was defensive side of the stoppage! He had a free path to goal!

All these things are completely symptomatic of a mentally frail football club.

All on our leadership tonight, and by extension, the coaching. Most disappointing loss in quite a few years
