This has been raised on another board but maybe worth some discussion here.
Most would now know that rexy has just officially cut his ties with channel seven, and in particular the Fishing show .
This along with other commitments has seen him reluctanly turn down any offers to take on some official role at the RFC,although he has stated on many an occasion that if time & work commitments allowed it, he would seriously consider such a position in the future.
If he were to consider it, then now would seem to be an opportune time given that a large chunk of he work commitments have been cleared.
The question is, if he was pondering such a move (i know its purely speculative) ...would he be an assest that the RFC could use to further its profile and fortunes, or is he just a lose cannon that we could i'll afford.
I know this topic has been discussed in the past, however the circumstances have changed somewhat since then and it would seem, given a few rumours floating around at the minute, that maybe he is finally considering taking on some roll. With which group im unsure,maybe casey ...possibly schwab.
Would it sway your vote come the agm if he were to align himself with either the Caey or schwab factions?
I for 1 would be happy if he came back in some capacity and believe that his profile could benefit the club more then hinder it, but i also know that rexy does polarize peoples views, so just wanted to gauge what others thought and what benefits if any, he could bring .
