Hey Tigarians,

As ANZAC Day approaches, lets take a look back in the history books of Tigers who put their lives at stake for our country in any war the ANZAC's have fought in.

Feel free to post your own stories of a loved one who was a Tigers man or woman who has recently taken up in our protective services.

I'd start this thread off with a post of someone who was on the Tigers list and lost his life but my internet has just decided to go off on it's own path and not work properly.

The one story from Jack Dyer's Biography is Bill Cosgrove. Died a month before the '43 flag, had his plane decorated in "Eat em Alive"

My Dad is a Vietnam Vet (still kicking luckily), he is the reason I follow the mighty Tigers, and the reason I get up at 5.30 for Dawn service every year...

For him it is special and extremely important, so even though I now live in another state, I proudly go to the service every year, and now take a photo whilst there with my sons and send it to him as a happy wakeup call (he lives in WA).

Its the least we can do for him!

Lucky bugger gets to see the boys play this Friday as well!
