Sets up our club long term with the money.

Cairns,everyone loved that we lost those games but that money helped fund the social club and Punt Road so we ended up winning.


On the flip side,does it hamper our season performance,well we have lost many on our home perch so one game may not matter anyway.

Personally,not sold on the idea but as long as we get the extra weeks break like Port,GC do then I'm more for it.

Let's face it, as long as GWS don't get injury ravaged, they will be unbeatable next year anyway. Look at this year. On top of the ladder with an injury list that would devastate most clubs. Could just send over the ressies and use it as an extra bye round for the AFL boys.

Hate the idea, going to completely disrupt the season of the players.
The travel, the fatigue, the acclimatization, the sleeping changes, the diet changes.
It's not as simple as fly in fly out.

This would actually be great if its an away game. I dont want to give up a home game for it though. If its away it means we don't have to take on GWS at spotless I won't complain.
