How good are the Tigers, even when we don't play we move up the ladder!

Seriously though, if Richmond win against Hawthorn and Adelaide lose the showdown (both pretty fair chances in my opinion), the Tigers will move up to 2nd on the ladder, the highest position they've been since probably the 1995 season.

No, the 2000 season when we made the finals I swear we were at least 2nd for a while. I think we may (this is probably wishful thinking) have even been in first place for a round or so.

We didn't make the finals in 2000.

I'm pretty sure the highest we got in 2000 was 3rd, around the middle of the season.

Essendon and Carlton had such long winning streaks during the season that it would've been impossible for Richmond to have been ahead of them at any stage.

I'm pretty certain that Richmond was on top of the ladder about halfway through the 1995 season.

We and Carlton both won our first seven games, before we lost to Geelong and Gary Ablett kicked a bag. Carlton after winning their first seven lost I think two in a row Sydney and St. Kilda and then didn't lose the rest of the year. I think we would have been top after round 9 when I think we beat Sydney at the S.C.G. Richo did his knee and required a knee reconstruction. I think Stuart Wigney also went down with a broken ankle. Interesting to note that when Richo went down for the season he had something like 30 goals and 4 behinds.

I wouldnt get to excitied just yet Tiger supporters. Although we are 3-1 its not as if we have had the toughest draw of the lot.

Yea Wigney did go down that year. Ive got the whole season on tape :). If you guys didnt know about it and want to get it im not sure if its still avaliable but ask the club. Name: A Tiger Tale.

In round 9 I think we were top except a few weeks later or the week after we had Carlton and lost to them.
