If Richo plays the rest of the year on the wing, could he be any chance for all-australian. Averaging 17 touches, 10 marks and 3 goals a game.

Any chance?

why not have 3 Richos in the AA team. 1 on the wing, 1 at HB and the other providing the light entertainment up forward in amongst his 3 or 4 goals.

give him the brownlow and commision the bronze statue as well. ;)

Don't see why not. He'd be in it so far, maybe on the pine but if he plays out the year on the wing, I'd say he'd make it.

Richo would be in contention for a spot at Half Forward then in my books he is a very good chance. Not in a million years would he get a spot on the wing. Too many other better players available for that role.

How many wingmen average 17+ possies, 10 marks and 3.5 goals per game?

A Champion player who has been a loyal servant for the Tigers his whole career i would put him AA each yr his workrate is phenomanal for a bloke his size. Was also good on Footy classifieds last night. There might be a lot of love for the new kid on the bloke Buddy , but he has a long way to go to emulate Richo, who has been performing consistantly for 14 years. Its a real shame he hasnt played more Finals

How many of those "better" wingmen are going to kick 60+ goals and lead (or close to) the AFL in contested marks come round 22.

If he plays there all year he must be considered.

How many wingman score 25++ posessions per game deliver the ball to forwards consistantly, have brilliant pace and agility and will score a goal a game on average. That is a wingman. If you want an example of an AA wingman for this season then look at Hawks own Chance Bateman who would be right up there in my opinion with Brownlow votes at the moment. I'm sorry but Richo is not an AA wingman. Brilliant player and one of the best players I have ever seen play, but not in a million years on the wing.

A bloke that kicks 50 goals last year in the worst team and still misses out on a spot thanks to cam mooney. The way richo is playing so far, AA selection is a formaility.

I never said he was not good enough for AA honours. Just that if Richo gets picked for AA honours then my 80 year old grandma is a chance to have a baby. In other words will not happen ever, not playing on the wing.

Give me Richo in my team before Bateman every time. And I am not having a go at Bateman but come on. I would give up half a dozen extra kicks for 2-3 goals more a week.

That is what I am saying. Put him in the side, he deserves to at least have a chance at making it... but as a FORWARD. A player such as bateman will set up more goals per game then Richo would, this season especially the way Bate's is playing.
