I love Richo and I think he is a gun. Would there be any chance that we could get him next year to the Cats. hypothetically assume our first round draft pick is off limits and so is Bartel

Maybe pick 22 and Spriggs?

I know he only has about 3 or 4 years left and he won't help us win the elusive flag but I think he would help our developing forwards out. it will also give me 3 or 4 years of enjoyment going to the footy.

Funnily enough, I was thinking about this last Friday night watching the telly... I thought that maybe Geelong would like at passing up a first round draft pick and Bartels for Richo!!!!

If not Bartels (and presuming that Ablett is off limits), then we may look at someone like Moloney or Kelly.

Cats chase Rawlings to fill forward void

HAWTHORN'S marking machine Jade Rawlings has been identified as the answer to Geelong's forward line crisis.

The cashed-up Cats are preparing to launch an all-out assault on the out-of-contract Hawk.

Essendon's Scott Lucas is also high on the Geelong wish list that includes Blues trio Brendan Fevola, Lance Whitnall and Corey McKernan. Brisbane Lion Daniel Bradshaw and disgruntled Saint Fraser Gehrig have also created interest.

The Geelong board was last week presented with a list of four candidates, which included Adelaide's Ian Perrie, but he has just re-signed with the Crows.

Snaring a big-name player is a priority as the pressure mounts on the Cats' football department after another disappointing season.









Interesting but not surprising that Richo doesn't even get a mention!

I think we could have Melbourne with a lot more to work with....

They are going to get a concession pick and a first rnd pick so maybe we could get that pick, and a player like Chris Lamb for Richo.

With Richo it would be good just getting rid of the salary ditto Bowden.
