I'm about half way through Richo's autobiography and tbh I'm sadly disappointed.
The man is a giant of our club and has an amazing story but the author seems to have taken to view that this book is just about his personal view on events in Richo's life.
Richo is a smart man and definitely would have a interesting story but his book is disappointing.

I'd love to see a biography about an AFL player stop the clichés and read like a well written book. I have not read Richo's yet though.

Pretty sure the book was meant to be written through his final season, but as we all know that was cut short hence the reason for the book being pretty shit.

What's the name of the book? Is it 'Richo'?

Have been meaning to buy a copy but haven't got round to it yet - might have a look next time I'm out.

You want boring? Read Justin Langer's book. It's all about 'state of mind' bullshit and I am a massive JL fan.
But he's pretty calm and a team man on the cricket field ???? :D

Anybody here read or rate the book KB- A Life In Football?
Just finished it today after getting as a xmas gift. Its terrific, an easy read with great pictures of his personal memorabilia. An open and honest account compares to what id expected, regrets staying away from the club for as long as he did was something i didnt anticipate him stating. A definite buy. By the way the richo book is an absolute shocker!

I have heard good things, thanks for the response.

Also have read the Richo book, it is an easy read but it's disconnected for the most part from the passionate giant of the club which was what endeared him to us fans

For instance I think Richo's first game is summed up in one sentence, something like "He kicked two goals on Danny Frawley, ironically a coach of his later on"

You could pick any chapter and read it separately. No continuity and no substance. I guess there weren't many highlights from a team point of view during his time a tigerland.
