Very good post, everything that you have said is spot on.
You have to have respect for those teams who are consistently in the top division, and who are always up near the top. They have obviously worked hard at an administration level to ensure sustained performance each season.

I have to say that I am impressed with the way Tooronga Malvern has handled the step up this season. They have performed well to all but secure another year in divi 1 next season, especially when you compare the way that Heatherton has performed thus far.

I think if you have a close look at the list heatherton had last year compared to this year, there is about 10-12 players that played in the winning grand final that are not playing this year for various reasons. The club knew before they won that these players would probably no suit up this season. They have struggled this year as well because they have a few players in the 1's that couldn't get a game last year and were just playing 2's.

To say StKilda City is not a respected club is absolutely ridiculous,yo yo?

At which point did I say this? Cuttingedge

I actually have alot of respect for St.Kilda City, been around for many years and have been loyal to SFL thus far. Others on this forum including myself are just trying to find answers to why a club would go down the Mr Fintrack path (form the outside looks like a short term solution) rather than building from the bottom into the top grade such has Highett and Tooronga done over the last few years. From an outside point of veiw, it looks as though the way these two clubs are going that they are aiming at sustainable success not short term glory.

Could you please look at what I have written properly before you make any further comments in the future.
