The greatest supporter in Melbourne's history has to be that dude who always wears a windcheater with the no. 45 on the back (Ricky Jackson) and a pair of ugg boots to every game. He gets his mug on the TV quite a fair bit.

Can anyone get me in touch with this guy? I want to know his motivation for wearing a piece of Ricky Jackson apparrell for years and years after the guy retired??? I mean, he was obviously a quality player, but is it possible to love Ricky Jackson that much???

I have seen that guy at the footy for years. Although I thought he stopped wearing his Ricky Jackson jumper a year or two ago. IIRC, the back of his jumper says 'Hocko' or 'Hoggo' which must be his nickname.

There's also that bleached blonde haired guy who sits next to him and usually starts the claps and chants.

But there is a new kid on the block, the guy who dyes his massive mohawk red and blue (and gold and blue at Sandringham's finals). He always gets his mug on TV.

That bloke with 45 put the 45 on just before Jackson left, and didn't want to change it. Became a bit of an institution so he kept it. Name is Hocko I believe.
