Ricky Mott delisted

According to the AFL website Ricky Mott has been delisted.

Have Freo done the right thing by dropping a ruckman from their list? I know they have Ogre and Simmo, with J-Lo as back up, but if one of them gets a seriuos injury Freo could get caught short. In my mind you can never have too many ruckman - just look at what happened to the Saints.

It also says that ben colreavy got delisted, i didn't get to see the games against collingwood in england but i thought he played really well?

Unless they have their eye on a Youngster to put on the Rookie list or even draft?

Out of Mott, Colreavy and Gilmore I would of dropped Gilmore yet he's the one promoted?

Looks like Cunners, Seigert and Haines are going to be retained.

very disappointing, he would have been handy.

Disapointing to see Mott gone.

He never has really gone a fair chance, and he coulda been rpetty good i thought from what i saw at Sydney.

Stupid though if he did reject the Freo contract. ATM you would think he'd just wanna get on a list and try and do something from there.

Doubt he will ever play AFL level footy now.

the rumour is that he rejected the Freo deal as some other club have had a quiet word in his ear that they will pick him up on a two year deal if he nominates for the draft.
Carlton is looming as most likely, although there are a few other clubs lacking in talls.
Still you'd think it'd be a risk on his part.
