i was just wondering what people think of ricky getting delisted?
personally i think it sucks.
i know we have doyle, ads and jase for the height factor, but jase and doyle have been injured and tend to be injury prone and so don't we need mott's height, just in case???
having said that, i want to wish ricky all the luck in the world for whoever he plays for next year

You think it 'sucks'?

Do you know the in's and out's of the club? They obviously had their reasons for delisting Ricky. Probably some good ones too.

My thoughts are these:
1. They do not believe he will add value to a premiership team (much like brockman and bennett)
2. He is not part of the Swans plans
3. He can only ruck, this does not suit the type of game plan that Roos wants to employ. He wants to employ a fast running style of play whereas Mott is more of a brick ****house, that is not mobile and can only play ruck
4. His fitness is no where near up to scratch
5. Some things were asked of him, but he did not live up to these expectations (keeping himself in good shape?)

i think it sucks just because hes over weight

number 1 they said he was over weight and hadnt been training well i just want to know who else is bloody going to go i hope jason ball and stephen doyle play better next year

Over here in the west there has always been some question mark over mott even when was a all aust under 18. hes a country boy who came down to play with south freo and struggle to compete with more mobile types in the wafl ie rayn turnbull etc.
football has always been a second priorty for him - major family probs. I think the swans made a hard but fair decision

He weighed 120kg. There is no way any person in his position, someone who is expected to run all day, should let themselves go like that. It shows a lack of commitment to the club and his career.

why dont you be quiet dow

you dont know anything about it so keep your mouth closed do you have to agree with everything the mase says cant you think for yourself

Are you for real i have written on this matter here and in other boards, just because i agree is not a crime, further more iam entitled to my opinion or are you the only person - or should i say i can have a opinion as long as i agree with you bloody nazi!!!!!!
